Southern Loggin’ Times magazine Associate Editor Jay Donnell visits Randolph Logging, LLC located in Cuthbert, Georgia. When Harold Kleckley decided to get back into logging in 2005 he knew there was plenty of opportunity for him in the woods. He had worked in logging his entire life and worked many years for Highland Timber Company, which was owned by his uncle, C.L. Jones. Highland Timber was sold in 1997. After working in the construction industry from 1999-2005, Kleckley knew he wanted to get back to his first love, logging big pine timber. On February 14, 2005 Harold, C.L. Jones and Shane Yelverton started up Randolph Logging, LLC, named after Randolph County which is where the town of Cuthbert is located. The county has a long history of logging and is home to several strong logging operations. Randolph Logging hit the ground running.
