Based in the Lynn Haven/Panama City vicinity, Florida logger Hayes Morris has spent the last few months cleaning up debris left in the wake of Hurricane Michael, which struck the area on October 10, 2018. The category 4 hurricane ripped through close to 2 million acres of prime timberland in the Florida Panhandle.
“We all feel like we’ve been running a marathon for three straight months and doing it with limited resources,” Morris comments on the storm’s aftermath.
