This article, written by Larry Trojak of Trojak Communications, in the September 2013 issue of Southern Loggin’ Times magazine features Gary Otter Construction, located in Charleston, South Carolina. Trojak writes, “At its peak, Gary Otter Construction employed the game better than a dozen people and was grinding massive volumes of mulch throughout a three-county area in and around Charleston, S.C. Realizing that unbridled growth is not always a good thing, owner Gary Otter decided to slow down to catch a breath of fresh air, and then later re-emerged as a leaner company with a different set of goals. Today, the company operates with a staff that is one-third its original size, has downsized its equipment to better meet its needs and has just completed work in support of the PGA Championship tour stop in Kiawah Island, S.C.”
