Southern Loggin’ Times magazine Associate Editor Jay Donnell highlights Cambridge, Ontario, Canada-based Tigercat’s recent 25th anniversary and discusses their new leadership and plans for the future. Donnell writes, “Tigercat’s 25th year in 2017 proved to be one of its most exciting, with the naming of a new president and an increased commitment to the international forestry industry, while sharpening its focus on the North American market. That its 25th year also included a wave of product introductions and enhancements did not come as a surprise—that’s been the Tigercat way since its inception in 1992 in Cambridge, Ontario. Just in 2017, Tigercat launched its RemoteLog telematics system, the 1185 wheel harvester, 2160 loader forwarder, 480B mulcher, 4061 mulching head, E-series 855 forestry carrier platform 602 cable skidder, and named additional sales and support personnel in Europe, Russia, Brazil and the Southeastern U.S.”
