Southern Loggin’ Times Managing Editor, David Abbott, visits Georgetown, Louisiana to cover a story about a father/son logging duo. Andrew Tant had big dreams of following in his father’s logging footsteps, just had Don had done with his father before him. The story not only covers the equipment, history, markets and labor of the Don Tant Logging Co., Inc., but also the bond and the shared love of logging. Andrew’s growth as a logger and also his contributions and expansions that he has helped coordinate with his father’s logging company speaks volumes and are main factors as to why their business is still thriving.
